LA VIDA DULCE: MALBEC WITH DESSERT? SWEET.

LA VIDA DULCE: MALBEC WITH DESSERT? SWEET.

Malbec with meat? That's a no-brainer. You know all about it. But that rich, bold Malbec is equally comfortable hanging out with your sweet tooth… so, give it try with dessert.

The chocolate notes of a Malbec have long made it dessert’s perfect wingman, so next time you're popping chocolate truffles, or indulging in a decadent chocolate layer cake, pour a glass and let your taste buds dance.

You could always get a bit more adventurous, too. Try pairing Malbec with rich dark chocolate, buttery caramel and a hint of salt. There's some serious mingling of flavors going on in a dessert like that. And when Malbec joins, the party really gets started.

Of course don’t be afraid to think outside the box (of chocolates). Chocolate isn't always necessary for Malbec to play nicely with dessert. The proof is in the pudding. Maybe an amaretto bread pudding with currants. Amaretto's sweet almond essence with the unmistakable flavor of currants? Yes please.

You're not the baking type? We get it.  You're more the “I'll-grab-something-on-the-way-home” kind of person. That's fine, just remember: when you think Malbec, don't just think meat, think dessert.

How's that for versatility?
