World famous Chef Lucas Bustos got creative with us on our last visit to Mendoza by taking a classic steak and adding more meat for additional spice and flavor. The final masterpiece is the Skirt Steak Rellena with Spanish Chorizo and Queso Fresco and it’s a dish that is tailor-made for a Malbec pairing.
Bite into this dish and you’ll be stepping into culinary heaven. The layers of steak, sausage and cheese combine for a savory experience unlike no other. I mean, let’s face it… one thing that makes meat better is more meat! With simple salt and pepper seasonings, the flavors of each of the three main parts really impress. If you like food that has different textures, this was made for you. It goes from the juicy outer steak to crisp chorizo and ends with the melted queso. All in all, this is definitely a favorite dish of ours.
